Using the Right Contraception without Losing the Enjoyment

Most men go through phases when they feel unable to perform in the bedroom.  Couple to that the revelation that condoms may not be a one-size fits all after all, and it’s no wonder we welcome the odd helping hand.

Safe Sex. Enjoyable sex.  They need not be awkward bed-fellows, if you’ll pardon the pun.  Some interesting facts were revealed on the BBC’s website this week citing a study from the University of Kentucky regarding the ill-fitting condom.

We don’t know about you but we suspect there are a few of you out there who have been in the either awkward (or downright uncomfortable) situation before with one of these ill-fitting contraptions.  If you’re recently acquainted with your partner, then it’s fair to say there’s occasionally an expression of doubting your honesty on her face at the mention of this.

So it must have served as some comfort to know that the horror-thought that you had a non-uniform member is not peculiar to you but – according to the study – nearly half of those surveyed as well.  If we roll this out (the puns aren’t intentional) across the country that’s a disproportionate amount of unusual sized or shaped penises.

So it would appear that we should be seeing some development in this area before long as major manufacturers and health authorities take the matter with a heightened seriousness.

So we’re safe now, but what about the enjoyment?  In the same survey, over 60% of those who had experienced discomfort through ill-fitting felt that it lessened their enjoyment of the sex itself.  However, lies, damned lies and all that – that still leaves over half of men who do fit into what’s available and of those surveyed, virtually none complained of a lack of enjoyment.  So we’re to assume that once we get the safe sex in order the good sex is a given, right?  Well not quite, no.

While we may find the partner of our dreams who presses all the right buttons, it’s sometimes out of our control whether those buttons work or not.  This is down to many reasons and erectile dysfunction as it is known broadly is likely to affect most men at some point in their lives.

A bit of internet research will show that it can be solved with drugs such as Jelly Viagra, or online herbal health supplements or any number of other products.  The point is that often, it is not as serious as first thought.  If you are consistently experiencing difficulty in the trouser department then there’s no substitute for your GP who will guide you through your options and possibly prescribe drugs to help.

In many cases though, the trial of everyday life can take its toll on your body without you noticing.   One of the signs can be in getting and maintaining an erection.  If there are work or health worries, or the kids just won’t sleep, or money is tight, the body’s complex systems will often react in a way seemingly unlinked to the initial problem.

There are a number of ways to help yourself before you become concerned.  Exercise is hugely important.  Thirty minutes walking the dog or a swim at lunch time does wonders for blood flow and stamina and the endorphins subsequently released by the brain make us happy.  It’s all natural, as are organic vitamins and minerals, and some herbal erectile dysfunction remedies.

These are often all it takes to provide that extra kick to help you reignite the lost spark in your love-making and reinvigorate your performance in the bedroom.  The ingredients are key, often using Ginkgo, Ginseng and Guarana, they combine to provide what is essentially a dietry supplement and a herbal remedy for erectile dysfunction.

With a combination of these products and a re-think of your exercise regime, chances are you’ll have found out what was lacking way before you need to take a trip to the doctors.
